In just one 60- to 90-minute lesson, you’ll learn a real skill—playing the ukulele. While your team is laughing and playing together, they’re becoming a cohesive unit. How could they not? A band is what a cohesive unit is.
With an award-winning, low-pressure, interactive method, your team will be playing (and keep playing), even if they’ve never touched an instrument before.
Perfect for groups of 20-100, sessions are designed to fit seamlessly into any event space. Ready to see how to make team building a hit?
I’m an award-winning music teacher, speaker, and team-building facilitator who specializes in turning corporate trainings into joyous music classrooms (but like the fun music classrooms from a 90s movie or something).
With an innovative methodology, honed over years of experience, I take large groups of people of any skill level and turn them into ukulele ensembles in only one session.
Whether you think you can or not, you will leave the session playing the ukulele—and competently! Lessons are fun, interactive, and most importantly, effective.
In just 60-90 minutes, you and your team will blend into one cohesive band of musicians.
“Matthew’s ability to take a large group of people, many of whom have never held a musical instrument before and teach them to play together was amazing.
I recommend Matthew’s method to anyone wanting to bring their people together for collaboration, learning and fun!”
“In the past, I have been part of exercises that were designed for children or were unintentionally embarrassing.
What made the ukulele team experience different from others was that it was neither. Matthew was able to appeal to those with advanced musical abilities and to those of us that just enjoy listening.”
Your team will be playing Don’t Stop Believing before you know it.
Everyone will get one! We work with a rep to secure the quantity of instruments you’ll need in the proper time frame. When the instruments show up to your event space, they’ll be perfect, shiny, and new. They’re also the coolest SWAG you’ll ever give your employees.
How irregular? Are we talking like a movie theatre or like a boat? We’ll work with you directly to figure out logistics. We can do a lot with a little.
Sure! 100 is just the number we prefer for sound and sightlines. Every company (and every room) is different. Just tell us what your needs are!
That’s not a question, but okay. Think about it like this: If you had no sense of rhythm, then how would you recognize music when it was playing? If you were tone-deaf, then all songs would sound identical to you. No. I promise that you have rhythm, and you’re not tone-deaf. You just lack training. You haven’t had a ukulele team-building session at your business to teach you.
We’ve done that, and we’ll do it again.
